No, I don't think that would be a good idea. I blew up a Vintage 30 with my V2 (and it's supposed to be able to handle 60W). FWIW, I'd seriously consider getting or building a 4x10 like the VT-40. I tried my V2 through a bunch of cabs and Celestion speakers. Nothing sounded better, IMO, than all the other speakers/cabs I tried (2x12 closed, 2x12 open, 4x12 closed, G12H30, Vintage 30, G12M25s). I was contemplating having Bruce at Fliptops.net build me a cab like the VT-40 (he does that) but then I already have a VT-40 so it would have been redundant; I sold the V2. Just one guy's experience...
