hi, i just bought a v2 from the blue/silver faceplate era. does this mean it's from 1968-72? also, would it be safe to use with this 60-watt cab: http://www.avatarspeakers.com/g212h%20special.htm finally, what does it need a footswitch input for? thanks very much, drew
