Now that I have had time to dig into it a little it appears that the filament windings are shorted and grounded on the power xfmr . Now to locate one at a reasonable price , are them hammond xfmrs worth it or should I stick with a "replacement" type ? .... yes it has a 5Y3 rectifier tube .
